Debra Tulloch is a highly experienced Patent and Trade Marks Attorney with over 30 years’ expertise across life sciences and biotechnology. She specialises in managing global patent portfolios and delivering strategic IP advice to clients from government, research, and industry. Debra’s work spans biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and cutting-edge medical technologies. A former partner and firm founder, she now brings her deep technical and legal insight to MBIP as Special Counsel 

Debra has extensive experience in managing international patent portfolios and providing strategic advice for both local and foreign clients. She undertakes a broad range of patent work, particularly in relation to biotechnology, agricultural and pharmaceutical products. 

Debra has extensive experience drafting, filing and prosecuting Australian and foreign patent applications. She is also experienced in opposition and re-examination proceedings, litigation support and validity and freedom to operate advice.
