Sarah has extensive experience in managing patent portfolios for Australian and foreign clients, ranging from local start-ups, multinational companies and foreign associate firms.   She is also experienced in opposition and re-examination proceedings before IPA and IPONZ, litigation support and freedom to operate advice. She also has experience in Australian and foreign trade mark filing and prosecution.  

 As a Special Council her areas of expertise cover: biotechnology, plant breeder rights, agriculture, genetics and gene discovery, molecular biology, pharmaceuticals and formulations, medical treatments, diagnostics and medical devices.
