Candice Noring is a Trade Mark Attorney based in MBIP’s Brisbane office, advising clients on the protection, management and enforcement of trade mark rights across Australia, New Zealand and international markets.
She has worked with businesses of all sizes to develop effective trade mark portfolio strategies, helping clients secure, maintain and maximise the value of their intellectual property. Her practice includes conducting trade mark availability searches and conflict assessments, managing Australian and New Zealand trade mark portfolios, and advising on clearance, prosecution and registration strategies.
Candice also has experience in contentious trade mark matters, representing clients in opposition and non-use proceedings, and preparing evidence for filing in disputes before the relevant intellectual property offices. Her pragmatic, commercially focused approach enables clients to navigate complex trade mark issues with confidence.
With experience advising on international trade mark protection, including Madrid Protocol applications, Candice is well placed to assist clients with expanding and protecting their brands globally. Her international perspective is further enhanced by time spent studying throughout Asia, including in China, Japan and South Korea, providing her with an appreciation of the diverse legal and commercial environments in which many of her clients operate.
