Robert Donaldson holds degrees in Applied Science (Physics) from QUT, and Arts (Philosophy and English) from UNSW.

Since graduating he has worked in the university sector as a researcher into optical and laser physics. In recent years his focus has been on STEM education, working as an educator in fundamental and advanced topics in physics and broader science.

Robert brings his years of experience in science research and communication to the field of Patent Law, joining MBIP as a trainee Patent Attorney in 2023.
